They folks who’ve posted up that they purchased one, said shipping was around $20. The whole unit is below $200 to you door. That’s pretty nice.
And it's pretty sturdy too. Mine has taken a few hits and have happily held up!

Shipping for a set of 200 skids (four pieces) was $300 on $900 of skids. I need a coupon code! I’ve inquired on a front which needs a pallet. Trying to get them to combine. Email turnaround is in full days.

A couple of things to keep in mind with emails from Israel right now. They're a little off time wise from the US, so if you're sending an email in the middle of the day, they might not see it until the following business day. I've sent and received about a half dozen emails with the Asfir folks, and have always heard back during their next business day. That being said, the world is in a little bit of flux right now. It's entirely possible that getting skid plates shipped around the world may have shifted to a slightly lower priority. My shipping on my 100 series skids was dirt cheap and very fast. That was also in October, when global priorities were slightly different.

Yep yep. I hope to have it sorted in a couple days, no rush on the armor, it's not life or death for sure.

I ordered a front skid from them a couple weeks ago. $192.91 exactly shipped to my door. I recieved it in 7 days, I believe. Every email I sent to them was responded to that day (adjusting for time difference). As soon as they have the other two skids done, I'll be ordering them as well. I'm very happy with the skid. Seems very beefy, especially for east coast wheeling.

I ordered the skid plate on the 30th of March. It didn't ship out until a week later on the 6th. Given the state of the world, I can't complain. :)
I have a tracking number for the Israel post...says it has left for the United States. :)

Does anyone know if the type of bumper used matters? I have the stock, but am planning on an upgrade.

I’ve been emailing back and forth re: fuel skid and bumper shipping. Ordered a transfer case skid (6week lead time). They seem to be working Sunday only atm.

I got an email from them a couple weeks back, said they are just working a skeleton crew most fulfilling orders only for the time being due to the current world issues.

I had to do a little cutting for my ARB bumper

Thanks for posting this!

Could you elaborate on this? - what Model arb bumper (early or late gen) and what exactly was trimmed. Pics would be awesome

I am running an ARB and have been waiting for the petrol version mods to come out so I can pick up the whole set at once and hopefully benefit from combined shipping

Any insight would be much appreciated

So the current skid plates (transfer and gear) listed on their website that say for a diesel, will they fit the US gas 100/LX470’s? Or are we still waiting a few weeks for the US gas design to be released? I have the their front skid and would like the others as well.

We are waiting for the design to be completed. They have put R&D on hold for a little bit due to the decrease in employees.

I got my ASFIR on today, just wanted post a couple pictures so it may help others searching for info like I was.
This plate is bigger then the oem one and goes further back.
As others have suggested go ahead and plan on buying slightly longer bolts it just makes install much easier.
For the sub $200 to the door I think this is the best bang for the buck, my OEM plate gave up the ghost to rust and this will fit my needs just fine.

Looks great! Only thing I'd do would be to cut a 4" hole where the oil drain plug is to make draining the oil easier.

I got a 200 series part (transfer case skid). Shipped a couple weeks sooner than promised as far as lead time. Nicely done part expect it will work awesome. Excellent packaging. Price was competitive. Shipping took about two weeks to west coast US.

Wanted to share the clearance for the oil filter with the ASFIR front skid, note I do have the diff drop kit from @TRAIL TAILOR and those pucks are 30 mm tall or so. I can reach in with oil filter wrench or pliers. This last oil change I put a piece a bent piece of cardboard and let it run off into the drain pan. Worked decently, maybe will add a hole for drainage.

I do need to source a taller puck as the front skid doesn’t have the hump that the oem skid has. As the pucks I have on hand are too short. I need to measure with calipers, but by eyeball a 90 to 120 mm tall puck would do it. 2 of TT’s spacers weren’t tall enough.

I just installed a fumoto oil drain valve and the ASFIR front skid doesn’t need to be modified. I need to add a hole to my TJM skid. I added a zip tie to the plastic clip to secure it.

Of note I need to drill out the middle hole on the ASFIR so I can place the third puck.

@knewstance Mine were threaded. As I had my oem skid plate bolted in place. When did you get diff drop from TT? I got mine late last year.

I think I got it almost 2 years ago now. I'll have to double check mine. Fingers crossed that they are threaded like yours.
