What or where have you guys found a bracket for the switches for an ARB install, I was suprised they don't provide one, this is in an FJ40? Thanks, Larry

really, they dont provide a bracket anymore? mine always came with one, think I have 6 ARB's all with brackets.......seems like thats a silly thing to not include and cant cost anything......

I don't smoke and the radio once got wet this low down:D

So I found a new use for the holes:cool:

The gauges show pressure in the Constant air tanks and ARB air tank not the locker pressure. Constant air supplied by air con pump to twin air tanks in the back under the LPG tank. The constant air can feed the ARB tank too but a one way valve stops the ARB pump trying to fill the Ali tanks. ARB is only used as a back up now. Wiring has also been modified to allow the locker to work without the ARB pump been turned on. Can also use front and rear lockers independently.

Waytek offers a mounting panel that requires one of two things:

One: you cut a .92 x 1.9 inch hole for each switch in your dash and insert the mounting panel.

or

Two: You make a bracket that fits under the dash, or in the radio hole, and cut the .92 x 1.9 hole(s) in the bracket.

The mounting panels mate together so you can make nice looking installations if you have multiple switches. See pics.

The prices are 1.04 for a single panel (for one switch) and .87 each for the left, right, or center panels.

ARB has switch plates that are available. Mine came with a panel for two switches (rear & pump). I bought the three panel from the local ARB dealer.

It's one of those Cobra CB's (75-WXST) where most of the stuff is in the hand piece and the other piece is abou 5"x2" and mounted under the ashtray. You can see where the cord plugs in to the left of the ashtray. I like it 'cause I can just unplug it and stuff it in the tuffy box if I don't want to leave it out for thieves to see;) I also bought another base and put it in my Lexus so I can swap them out depending on which truck I'm wheeling.

I just wondered where you put it I have the same radio and I mounted it in the glove box and ran the plug out the bottom of the box, cheers, larry
