After almost 4 years my amber Xprite fog lights filled with moisture and started blowing the fog light fuse. I ordered the Stedi fog lights designed for the ARB deluxe bumper as a replacement. I added some 9006 plugs to the Stedi harness so they would plug into the factory LC fog light harness. They installed quickly and easily.

The Stedi replacements might be too bright to use as actual fog lights. Their light cut off isn't sharp, but they do concentrate the light down low and shouldn't blind oncoming traffic. The light color is also more blue than I'd prefer, maybe around 6,500k color temperature. They are brighter than the Xprite fog lights I previously had.

The DRL halo is kind of cheesy but I hooked it up to the parking light circuit.

I look forward to trying these things out in snow/fog/rain. I'll report back with my experience.
Looking spiffy! I recommend tinting them yellow. Mine are Rigid fogs with yellow cover that provide a nice contrast in rain and snow!

Thanks for the suggestion! I'll keep that in the back of my mind as I try these things out in a variety of weather.

FYI- Update. I just got a 2nd pair of these because one got broken. The new version has a shorter lead (shrikflation) that won't reach the factory wire. I'm having to extend the wire. Soldering is a bitch!

I had the same lights as in the OP. Replaced recently as well, as mine also died. I put in a pair of 3.5" Squadron Sports, and used a 3d printed bracket I bought on ebay to mount them. Love em. The last ones were white and IMO the amber is better.

I recently spliced the small whites into my parking lights. Both with LED bulbs.

Since this thread has been getting a lot of attention lately, I figured I would add my setup as an option since I had to do some trial and error to figure it out.

I don't have experience with the ARB fogs, but have heard not so great things about them, so i decided to skip the headache and I ordered a pair of Bosch Compact 100 driving lights and put in some Narva RangePower +50 Ultra High Output H3 bulbs from Candlepower.com. I have these wired to the OE fog twist switch on the turn signal stalk.

I'm pretty impressed with the output, but admittedly it did take a few attempts to aim these correctly.

I had these exact Bosch lights. Great fit although strange installing them 90 degrees off. One rattled loose though, fell under the tire and ripped out the wires. Now I'm installing the ARBs. The one thing I really like dabout the Bosch was the near-perfect fit in the opening. And the solid (well, normally) bolts to hold them stable. That said, mine did fall out. So now, on account of the Bosch install my plastic tabs are stretched out--the ones that provide the primary security for the ARBs. So I'm not super keen on the ARB reliance on a couple bits of plastic to perform the entire duty of securing the lights come what may. The adjustment screw does assist but not what I'd rely on. However, it does make for a nice ajustment experience. The final solution involved drilling a pin hole through the ARB lights' plastic arm for a diaper pin to better ensure the bumper side plastic wouldn't flop out and drop the lights. Anyway, the only thing I don't love about the ARB lights is all the light around the perimeter they let through. Kinda...janky...looking. I'll probably blast it with some black sealant when I get them aligned satisfactorily.

Installed these on the truck yesterday. I ended up using a combination of JB Weld and zipties to attach the trimmed Xprite cover to the ARB insert. Everything feels very solid, no wiggles at all.

I am very impressed with the performance so far. Massive difference in seeing things on the road at night. Hopefully mine last longer than others’.

The one thing I really dislike is the gap between the insert and the light itself. I covered it with gorilla tape for now, might see if there’s a better way to cover it that doesn’t look too DIY.
