Discovered this gem of a sticker on the passenger side kick panel tonight. I had never seen it until I removed the old dealer installed a/c unit. Cool little sticker that's been hidden all those years. It's on a November 1979 build fj40 FYI. Cheers.

Originally was Arakawa Sheet Metal Works after the founder left Toyoda Automatic Loom Works then changed to Arakawa Auto Body then changed to Araco in the 90’s then to present day Toyota Auto body... interesting guy who founded them ... Kiichiro came to him to make the sheet metal for the SA even though he had left just a few years earlier

I am not 100% sure but around 73 I think those stickers started showing up... do not have exact date as it is hit and miss that sticker

More consistent from 78’ on in the 40’s ... fj60’s had them on the bottom corner of the doors

Did a quick look and found from the 70’s the part number 75427-90K00

Beno may know the earlier numbers... but... there are plenty of people who make that sticker afaik

Now you got me wondering. Have a 2/73 FST with a aftermarket A/C evaporator hanging from the dash. Not sure I looked up there to see if it has one.
