"Maybe this site should be called ih8offroading.com instead...??? I just recently moved here and have been looking for people to go wheeling with. Everytime I check this club's threads about runs, nothing ever happens. It seems everyone bails at the last minute???? Am I missing something??? "

Here is you chance :flipoff2: BTW welcome. I have a friend who's son is in town, and he wants to go off roading. Not to mention, my godson calling me every week to ask when is the next time. Anyone up for it? Maybe somewhere close?

Sunday eh? I get off work at 0900, might be up for showing off the lifted 60 if it's another Cedro run. Work has moved to the valley, so I wouldn't be able to hit the trailhead til 1000ish, but at least I've got a CB now.... :grinpimp:

Who the hell said that? What thread?

I haven't had much time with the HDC gossip....

I've been too busy wheeling....

I was just asking Rory if he'd seen or heard from you lately because you hadn't posted anything in the HDC section in a while.

MudLvr on the June campout thread...

The guy did a drive-by and hasn't posted since.

Rory's the one who has all but disappeared...and he still has the AC clutch I gave him and my snap ring plier!

I really don't post because I cannot make any of the meetings (I work on weekends) and I cannot make any of the runs (I work on weekends).

I guess I'm a terrible LC owner and a terrible club member.

Awwww..... Look who's the ONLY one who works on weekends... ;)

Want to help me rebuild the axles for the 40 one of these weekdays? (later July or August prolly) I'll bet we could chide Ash into coming. Days of the week are meaningless when you don't work (or don't schedule to work around any days in particular)

Waaa, waaa. Seems there was a HDC contingent that went to the 'Con recently and they haven't teased us with stories or pics. [sniff]

So Onur ... was all that wrinkling on the side of your truck a result of the 'Con?

A good portion of it--along with a rear driveshaft, bent-to-hell tie rod, bent relay rod, busted rear tail light, crushed gas tank (and bent fuel pump bracket), busted rear fog lamp.

It was a good trail.

Any time Dan. I am off Thursdays and Fridays. Let me know.

Plus most of November at Surf-n-turf, half of May in Utah, and all of June at Rubicon. But you can't come to meetings or wheel with the club. :D

If I got 6 weeks vacation every 6 months or so then I would probably do the same thing. :grinpimp:

It's 4.5 weeks to be precise....

I can see why you'd say that. I see him pretty much every day since he's been working in the lab around the corner from my office so I have a different perspective.

Wasn't there a thread somewhere around here about wheeling this Sunday?

I'll actually be around this weekend so would be in. I've been traveling for the last several weeks and had some nice trips to Vegas and Seattle on the .gov's dime.

WOW. I almost forgot what this thread was about, but Carol and Marc reminded me. Carol, I have no problem with Cedro. Maybe someone that really knows it well will hopefully be in. Thought I would have to be the one to dissapear.

Don't forget, we also chased away that one guy that just got divorced with a 40th like mine that went on one run when the Puerco got flooded. He never came back either (sounds like you all chase everyone away, WTF is up with that :flipoff2:). IIRC, his name was Bruce???

North or South Valley?

S Valley, our Station 2 on Arenal. The district is roughly the size of my neighborhood (Ponderosa Pines), but they run almost as many calls per shift as I've been on in the last few months out here in the sticks.

Figured it was time to maybe actually WORK for my paycheck.

I'm on the fence about Sunday, so ya'll just choose where you wanna wheel, and if I can make it, great.

I've only been out to the Puerco locally, so would like to try a different spot.

Call the neighborhood I grew up in the sticks :flipoff2: At least back then it was mostly

, now days who knows. Actually not that bad, most of my family still lives down there and I still visit them.
