Thanx Scott, but I think I'm gunna go with the spacers....
These springs have about the same mileage on them (dealer installed new OEM's when I bought the rig last year)...
At least with the spacers, I can guarantee it will be 2 inches higher than what it is now and I think that will be just perfect until I can afford a proer lift
That's cool, you'll get more mileage out of those spacers. Heck, you can even use the spacers with the new springs you get later on.

I'm running the MAF 30mm spacers on my truck. I needed them because my bumper brought the front end down a bit. Not much of a difference, but it's a noticeable one. (this was before I installed the bumper)

I wouldn't run much of a spacer with stock spring/shock combo, they are too light, especially if you have weight high, like a roof rack.
That said if I were to do it, would use the "in the coil pack" type, it will still has full stock travel. IIRC the stock shock is 8" travel and some is wasted on the compression side, leaving what ~6" of usable travel? With a 2in "over the cone" type spacer, the droop is still the same, limited by the shock, the cone/stop is spaced down, loosing an additional 2in of compression travel. Not the best setup for ride, flex, etc.
Are the Mr Gasket spacers still available? they are cheap and work OK. For any rig heavier than stock, I strongly recommend getting heavier springs with longer, heavier valved shocks, this will net a much better handling rig.

This will come later on when I can actually afford a proper lift

On a totally unrelated note..... I miss Skycraft. I try to go there every time im in town....They look at you funny when you try to bring a bunch of switches and wire, fuse blocks, and stuff on a plane......
They have "OEM" marine rocker switches from the Regal Marine factory. Some lit(LED), some solid. The machined switch plates are great (I have a 7 switch panel in the garage somewhere. They even have the rubber gaskets that go in between the switch and the panel. Multiple colors too.

I don't get it, OME coils are what $150 a pair? So spending almost that much for spacers doesn't make much sense, check the classifieds someone may have some used medium for less?

Before the winch, the OEM springs already sagged about an inch
Then another inch after the winch install
The way I see it, even with new OEM springs, the weight of the winch will still suck it down an inch
With the spacers, I'm guaranteed an extra 2 inches to bring me back to level
I'll most likely still make use of the spacers even after I get the lift kit, so I don't really see the need to buy a set of springs for the time being
