I had a bit over 400 lbs hanging off my Wilco hitch swing (hilift, hitch riser, hitch basket, 240 lbs of pavers, load of groceries) yesterday. Did well. The Wilco Off Road Hitchswing is the way to go as far as I'm concerned.

Slide into the Hitchswing your favorite bike rack, cargo rack, or whatever-rack, pull the pin, and swing that entire load away from your vehicle.wilcooffroad.com
Is the new one reversible for left or right swing?I've been following this thread for a while, looking for a solution. Long time 1up user across several vehicles and was looking for a way to gain full access to the rear of my 200 as well. I had the Kuat swing out, which contacted the tailgate as previously advertised. I was excited to see 1up released the Rakattach 2.0 a few days ago...I walked outside and took all the measurements, and it looks like everything will fit fine. The overall height of the unit itself is about 1 inch lower than my Kuat, and I only needed a few mm to make that work. The actual pivot bolt looks to be clear of the lowest portion of the tailgate, and the unit overall is tighter to the vehicle. I've got the large one on order and will post an update once I have it installed and have confirmed its fitment.

The new rack is fully reversible for left or right swing and it comes in two different widths. 1UP has drawings with detailed dimensions on their website. Is the new one reversible for left or right swing?

I’m pretty sure they didn’t make one that fit the 200 as of a while back. I called and spoke to them and even with my body lift, I think there would be tailgate interference.Has anyone considered the Rigd Ultraswing?
I'm not a huge fan of the hitch swings, so it's probably not for me. But this is the one I'd probably go with if that were to be my solution.

Happy to report that the RakAttach 2.0 works like a charm, is built like a tank, and provides ample clearance to the tailgate and full access to the back end. Install was simple and there’s no movement at the hitch whatsoever.

Thanks for the update, I've been trying to find a swing away that works for awhile now. As promised, some shots of the Thule 9037 + 1Up Super Duty Double + Super Duty add-on single. Solid as a rock with no rattles. As mentioned above, the 9037 has plenty of clearance between it and the dropped tailgate. No modifications need to be made to the Thule to make this happen. The entire rack swings out of the way of the tailgate and rear hatch - no interference whatsoever with any component on the 200-series (tailgate, rear hatch, bumper, taillight, etc.).
Thanks for the discussion in this thread and for recommending the Thule. I’m very satisfied with this configuration.
