Anyone running a 1Up Rak Attach on their 200 series? (2 Viewers)

Several weeks ago, I purchased the new version (2.0) of the Rakattach for my 200 series. RakAttach 2.0 - https://www.1up-usa.com/product/rakattach-2-0/

I got the large version, and it works perfectly.

Item # 150100 Description Rakattach 2.0 - Large

Only issue I have with it is that even with the threaded locking hitch bolt mechanism they provide, it still wobbles. I need to purchase an anti-rattle hitch but looks like the 200 series is difficult to fit. Not the end of the world, but it would be nice once I get it done.

Pro tip, order some skateboard grip tape and cut it to fit on the top surface of the rack attach so you don’t slip when using it as a step, which most people will do.
Also buy a pool noodle to place over the protrusions when the hitch is open and you are getting stuff from the back of the vehicle. Your shins will thank you.

I recently went this route for my 1up rack after really getting tired of having to tilt it down to get into the back of the LC. I have it all locked down at the hitch mount and the receiver mount on the swing arm for the bike rack - no movement at all.

Bought the rackattach v2 used locally and prior owner had stripped out the threads on the locking hitch pin on the hitch mount side - not sure how you screw that up - he had a replacement all set for me. Maybe that is a source of wobble for people here? Their stuff is bomber and well made.

No wobble, rock solid, clears the lower tail gate, provides enough off-spacing to get the upper tail gate open - it's a win.

So good to see! I was an early adopter of the 1.0 version. It just hit the tailgate, barely. With three bikes or four bikes on the rack it’s a bit of a pain to lower down the bikes with just the rack itself. Especially when I have to let the dogs out all the time. The 2.0 version is great. Now I just have to sell the 1.0 version.

Yes. I had the 1.0 version but like you, it hit the tailgate.

I upgraded to the 2.0 about a year ago and as has already been stated - it works great, no issues with hitting the tailgate.

1up stuff holds its value pretty well - I was able to unload very quickly and for a good price via a bike forum I frequent...

Yes just sold a v1 on FB in approximately 24 hours for $200. Don’t let it sit in your garage forever like I did 👍🏻

2.0 version works perfectly with the tailgate down. Used the 4 bike rack to travel to Sea Otter and ride some Santa Cruz Trails this past weekend which never disappoints.

If anyone is inclined to do a body lift, it also lifts the tailgate by however much the body lift is, creating clearance for more swingout options.

I use my swingout differently than most here. The upper hatch might just be able to clear my jerry cans with the swingout in the close position.
