Cat guard on the White Knuckle slider hangs down kind of low and looks like it would hang up on rocks. I'm thinking about cutting it off. The cat that's on there is tucked up high.

Bummer, but absolutely understandable.Took a closer look, forgot that it ties into the frame so it stays.
Maybe could use it for broiling a roast at camp?Took a closer look, forgot that it ties into the frame so it stays.
My weird up/down idle issues on 97 LX was oxygen sensor wires damaged, under the truck. Fixed the wires and idle was fixed.Drove it 70+ miles today. It runs ok, not great but good enough on flat road. Current issues are that when cold idle is ca. 700 (this is good), but once warm idle may jump to 1200 or at times around 2000 (not good). Acceleration from a stop is sluggish, acceleration below 50 is sluggish, about 50 not up to good 1FZE standards. On the route today I had a couple of steepish hills and the 80 ran poorly up the hills, could hardly exceed 30. I towed a M416 loaded with new Geolanders for the 60 and on flat ground the trailer was unnoticeable.
I think I'm dealing with TPS issues. I have a new one on order and think that will clear up these issues.
