There's another one that is similar. I am pretty sure it's a variation of a Bandeirante from Brazil.

Not sure if that is legal, usually US Customs are a little more precise on the paper work on a vehicle entering the US, especially if the frame stamp, vin and year don't match, but this being listed as a 1989 when it at one time was a ?, makes me question it. Now being shown as a 1989 puts in a emissions status class in some states even if it is a Diesel. Boy, hate to run this one thought DMV.

Hey whitey45, so they actually made these up till that time. What year was yours? Any post on these here on Mud. Like to see some more on them. The box looks to be from a different model LC and a few other areas looked questionable, but if legal would be interested.

The box is correct. Remember, it's not a LandCruiser, it's a Bandy.

In the last few years of production they made a 4 door pickup , the one for sale is an extended/crew cab without doors

Cool rigs.....if you want to pretend you have a Bandi.....I have a new set of fender aprons with the name stamped into them.....kinda neat, not sure why I have them though...

I do now remember seeing one in L.A. years ago, the name Banderiante just did not sick in my memory banks. I read information on the web about them and would love to have one of the 2000 models.

Would be cool to have those aprons just sure what I would do with them. The late model four pickup would be a different matter, those are just cool. My the time their legal probably be too old to enjoy it. Plus think I heard it's not easy exporting vehicles out of Brazil.

Johnathan Ward had a few bandi pickups that he built up and sold with land cruiser aprons ... you may very well have seen one of them

Here is one of those rigs
