I'm not seeing any rock rails, safari bars, winches or lighting kits yet. Anybody seeing anything? My new LC has the new tires- waiting for everything else.

Nice color, nice Cruiser. Give us the report - how's it ride? How do you like it? What's your Cruiser experience and how does it compare to others you've owned/driven? Inquiring minds want to know.

Still very early days but I'm sure the market will be flooded with options sooner than later.

It looks like my rear lower control arm skids/brace fits, I still need to do some more testing before I say they fit for certain. The control arms bend under the weight of the vehicle, these fixed the problem on the 200 series. Link

I'm going to start scanning tomorrow, so I can develope some skid plates with proper maintenance access panels.

We've got a 250 drawer/fridge system developed and installed. We need to get the website listing updated still, but that's a "complete" product just standing by to let it get some runtime before we call it "vetted".

You can see it in Ben's build at expo PNW right now. Personally, I'm excited to see what people do with the built in 2400W AC outlet. I was hoping the hybrid system would give us some super-torque, but I'll take the high output power system for now. :)

This is my 4th Land Cruiser. All have the previous ones been Series 100 ( 1999, 2003, 2007). I lost interest in the Series 200's because they grew to Sequoia size (no offense to the Series 200 lovers). I had a 450 drive home from Cheyenne to Western Colorado. Local travel since. The last 6 miles to my 7800' altitude ranch are dirt roads. Haven't gotten off road yet, but will soon ( some of our mountain passes, like Black Bear, are still snowed in). Very civilized and comfortable on road. About the same interior room as a Series 100. Nice finish. Attracts a lot of attention. Better on road than my 2022 Bronco Sasquatch.

This was my main sticking point with the 250, wasn't sure how a fridge slide would work with the battery pack in the back. And I can't take the family camping for 2 weeks without our fridge/freezer, once the wife and kid get used to having ice cream sandwiches in the middle of the desert in the summer, there is no coming back from that.

How much of the land cruiser stuff fits the GX 550?

I'm definitely interested in trying to get some cooler gear

The ADGU drawer, kitchen and sleeping systems are now live on the site!

Can you post up some photos of the drawer system showing height compared to the folded 2nd row?

Also I'd been interested in seeing more details on the sleeping platform setup as well as how the overall setup is mounted in the vehicle.

Sure thing! The system height is largely driven by the desire to accomodate the CD30 Fridge. That has become a very valuable component of our design, adding a ton of utility and flexibility to the systems.

Here's a picture showing how the sleeper is supported over the 2nd row. This sleeper is self-supporting and does not rely on the 2nd row in any capacity. With this sleeper you can even remove the 2nd row for weight savings and additional storage. Here's a link to our technical forum where we'll be exploring features in more and more depth:

I just ordered Dissent's sliders. They estimate a 12-14 week lead time. If you order now, they give a "launch special" discount that just about offsets the shipping cost.

Slee's sliders are supposed to be available by the end of 2024 or early 2025. They will reportedly look like the ones they offer for the 200/LX570.

Following up, someone gave out bad info online. Upper coil-over mount is not the same bolt pattern as a tundra/200 series. OEM spacers for a 200 series do not fit.

Some more info:

I measured stock front wheel travel at 8"

There is 4" of bump travel and 4" of droop.

A spring preload 2.5 kit, will leave you 1.5" of droop. Something I would not want.

I was able to remove the coil-over without un-bolting anything else. I assume the swaybar disconnect aided in this.

I'm going to disassemble the coil-over and see how much shock shaft is left before bottom out. This will let me determine if I can add a top spacer to increase ride height and droop. Just like the OEM spacer for the 200 series.

There was about 8.5mm of shock travel left at full bump. Black line is where the shock bottoms out.

I had the lower bump stop out, just to make sure.

To be safe, I'll be only making 1/4" thick spacers. Hopefully this will raise the height by 3/4" and increase droop travel by the same.

Thanks for all this. Definitely keep my eyes on this! So you think a 1/4" spacer will work with the original bump stops?

Pretty sure, I'm going to test it out this week.
