I’d be in for a 3b (12v) but since you have had the LJ and hzj kits before is the only difference the compressor mount?

I believe that it might be as simple as that but have no idea if the compressor for the 3Bis the same size or style and the 3B kit apparently comes with a extra pulley for the crank.

Order is placed , thanks to all who have stepped forward . I will keep everyone updated on the ETA as soon as I know more.

Sorry I missed the order this time around. I'm looking for a package for a LHD '85 BJ70 24v. Please let us know when the next round is going. Cheers.

Looks like I missed the order as well. I would be interested in putting my name on an extra unit you may have ordered or even just the under dash compressor. Let me know if any of that is possible. Otherwise put me down for he next order. Thanks.

I did order a few extra ones to have some on hand , what model are you after ?

I have a BJ73 24v. However I would prefer a 12v model since I have a 12v accessory system along with the 24v main. If you don’t have one for a 12V BJ73, I would take one of the other models in 12v. I can make a compressor mount and probably source a pulley for the crank. Plus I plan on an engine upgrade at some point (maybe 1HD), so something that works with that engine would work too.

Just want to update everyone as my supplier initially promised me to get the order ready in 8 weeks and that would have been next week. Unfortunately Covid has delayed their suppliers also and they are still waiting on some parts to wrap this order up , as soon as I know more I will post back up here.

My apologies to everyone for this delay , I am looking in to having these shipped with airfreight rather then in a container from Europe to get them here asap when they are ready

last week my supplier told me they where waiting on the last parts to come in. Airfreight prices are ridiculously jacked up at this time so I already booked a container and I need to deliver these this week at the port so keeping my fingers crossed that they get everything in on time and I can have them picked up and they will be on the way.

I'm hoping to get the kit installed in time for the Meet & Greet in TN at the end of Sept.

If there are no customs delays or any other hold ups that could be possible but with this pandemic going one delaying everything all bets are off unfortunately.

All parts came in with the supplier and I can pick up the ac kits on Friday , these are shipped in a container so it will be another 3-4 weeks at least before they can get here , air freight was almost 400$ more per kit but if anyone needs the kit urgently and wants to spend that let me know and I will separate your kit from the order and have it send direct to you by airfreight .

It is great that you sourced these kits Joe. I bought a diesel 91 pickup that was missing the AC at an auction and ended up stripping the AC from my 95 troopy---then I spent 3 months searching junk yards for the box under the dash for the troopy.

I finally found one in Abu Dhabi to put back in the troopy. Had I known about this, I would have considered the upgrade. The troopy really could use an 'ambulance' style AC. Honger's troopy has the dual condenser AC for his troopy as I recall. That would be super nice...

It seems that 2020 keeps on giving as I got notice from my Belgian freight forwarder this morning that customs has selected my container for physical inspection/verification meaning it has missed the loading onboard deadline that was planned for today . Waiting on news for the release of the container and to hear what the next available boat is . My apologies to everyone waiting on one of these kits but unfortunately there is not a damn thing I can do about any of this, I will keep y'all updated as we go.

Joe

You can jump up and down and do back flips. Won't help the shipment but would give us a few laughs :)

Got to love bureaucracies.

Thank you for keeping us informed.

I feel your pain Joe. We were bringing our TLC back from overseas with us and the US customs decides our vehicle had to undergo an "intensive" inspection. Weeks later and many $$ we got it out of customs. Good luck with the process.

Do you have more pictures of this? Preferably the back side? More specifically where the vent selector cables join?

Pictures of the work in progress are good.

Sorry Andrew. I've looked and don't seem to have any that would be useful.
