I popped out my turn signals to give them a nice polish and found a set of wires that were cut and attached to the righ turn signal harness connector. Any idea as to where these go?

I'm guessing for an aftermarket harness of some sort that got removed or for external lights.
Sort of looks like a Slee headlight harness. SLEE - 9005/9006 Headlight Upgrade Harness - Slee Off Road - https://sleeoffroad.com/products/lig1001/

This follows the same loom and splits from the right turn signal plug, of which looks completely factory.
The second picture is what made me think Slee, the plug is in his hand and a wrapped bundle looks to be extending from that are. I put this harness on one of my 80s and (IIRC) that is what it looked like. The first picture looks as though the plug was cut or severed from the wires.
Open the link and look at the install instructions, if it is the harness it will be obvious when following the instructions.
NVM - I just looked at the install instructions and the plugs shown don't look right for the Slee harness.
