It looks like a nice truck but whats lurking under the new paint would have me worried unless I could see it in person.
Good Luck

I did inspect under the carpet and the usual rust spots. All of them were like in brand new condition. I think the owner may have sandblasted the body and repainted.

It looks pretty much correct for a LX, I kinda thought they had a different side hardtop window, but maybe just in AUS. It looks more like a JDM spec than a middle eastern spec. Those are Warn fender flares off something besides a 40, probably a jeep

The trany in some( all?) of the LX are the h55f, which is the same as a fj75 trany....I think.

Looks like those burkabaju wheel flares that looked promising but never really took off.

what is written on the data plate ... That will help in determining wether it's an LX or not ... But just as @Landpimp said lx's in oz were the option filled tlc's

So just as it sits it can be an LX... A good looking one

X2 on burkabaju fender flares ... He is in the philippines

Sri Lanka ain't PI, Johnny, it's off the coast of India.

@honk I know that silly guy :) ... But he shipped his flares world wide ... I recall he had at least a dozen that made it to individuals ... Not in the pi but he was in Indonesia so that's closer lol

Is it a BJ42 or a BJ40?

I'm confused....

Photos of the engine bay are missing

It's not an OZ spec LX

No triple wiper
No sliding Windows
Hard to tell what type of rear seat, but we had 60/40 split front&rear

Grab handles on windscreen frame look interesting - wonder if they're stock?

Looks more like EUR spec BJ44 (but shorter)

Looks very clean though
