... i'm not that dense!

these are the direct instructions and they don't say 10% of 250ml

FILL hardener to level A (see diagram above) of the bottle (thisequates to250ml of System 20 Hardener).
Add basecoat tinter to level B indicated in the diagram above (this equates to 10% of basecoat tinter by volume).

hah thanks! my body is not going to be nearly as nice when its done as yours but hey... now i might actually take this thing out and play with it.

i'm getting the 3/4 tub back in a week so i can get it running.. the guy painting is in his own business and hes got a small shop less than 2 miles away so i'm going to go an help him out if he needs it (a.k.a. carrying stuff around)

he gets all his paint through maaco cheap - he sprays there as his side job.. only thing is we need a way to get the sherwin williams paint they buy to match.

anyone have a color code/formula for sherwin williams 653 olive green??

Next: this weekend i'll be putting in shims in the front and rear to fix caster and driveline angle.. the new shoes are going to get put on and i'm going to clean up the chassis cause right now its dirty!

I'll also be finishing up brakelines and steering linkage

soooo my guy couldn't find 653 in sherwin williams data base.. he insists it doesn't exist and that its 637 olive green which he got a spray for me and it is not what i'm looking for.

end of story i bought a gallon + hardener + reducer (total 1.5 gallons.. hope that is enough..) from TCP Global. Should have just done that in the first place cause now i have to wait 5 days for shipping!!!

here are some pics with the tires.. and cleaned it up=... dirty and after

Man that's going to be one sweet rig when your done. It looks like you've been though some ups and downs with this build, and still managed to pull it off, Awesome job. That just shows you, persistence pays off. You certainly have patience. Something I wish I had. Look forward to seeing more.

been trying to keep myself busy cleaning up the little parts.. here are the pics of what i've been up to.

I'm still waiting on the paint (I had to order from TCP).. the painter couldn't find a formula for 653.. so its in the mail now.. I'm going to FL from 21st to 27th... then I leave Nov 11th. The body should be 100% painted when I get back on the 27th which gives me 2 weeks to throw everything together

I think I posted pics of the heater earlier but I didn't say thanks to ATLAS - His heater kit was perfect..

carb linkage..

set the timing with the bb in the window

electrical all hooked up and ready to go - I used battery cables from napa.. they're 25'' black cable was perfect for the positive side - matched my factory cable (I was able to transfer the boots to the new cable as well as the fusible link) and it was long enough for the gear reduction starter.

Ambitious schedule.........just give a yell, I'm sure we can dig up a few volunteers to wrench on all new stuff. :hillbilly: I'll plan on dropping in even if I'm uninvited. ;)

Very nice build to follow. Thanks for the inspirations.

Sorry don't know anyone with a tub - keep looking though you'll find one!

The DUI was the first thing I ever did to a cruiser it was a :wrench: job.. pretty easy for sure - you just have to be careful that the dizzy gets seated allll the way and your oil pump engages good luck!
