mine is definitely not a purists build. I'll be trying to keep it looking traditional though and you've been a big help with the part numbers for some of the more obscure things. I'll be keeping your build as a great resource for parts to come.

Brought her home from paint tonight, looks great. This weekend is the door panels, adjust the idle slightly and put it up on Bring A Trailer!

I am excited to see this sold on BAT. Do you know when the auction will start? Also, are you submitting pictures, or do they send a photographer and help with listing?

I just ordered a new cable and hook for the winch which should be in by the weekend too. I was going to leave that for the next owner but I think it will Look good with a new one on it before I sell it. Drove great today.

Hahaha, yeah I had the caps off for the painter to fix a little miss spray inside the wheel wells, but I have two brand new ones that I'm throwing on this weekend. Plus I like looking at the yellow zinced lug nuts

I took Roma's advice and used painters tape and a heavy Mylar to help seal the doors a bit. I couldn't bring my self to use the tar or weather-stripping glue on the painted doors, just in case the next owner needed to get back in there down the road. I also installed the new window felts prior to the door panel install. I also realized I bought the wrong door panel bezel inserts and now have to order the correct ones. Anyone need FJ60 door panel bezel inserts cheap??
