So, what, it's like Kevin, Carl, me (with or without my 80) and maybe Spike?
How can 3 - 5 Cruisers interfere with a buncha Heeps?
. o O ( Guess I should get some hooks on my bumpers for strapping them out of their predicaments. ) ;)

I hope (and expect) Bro Rob will be there as well and the maybe is Norm. And, Johnathan, you sound like the linkbacks below - they offered us a similar hand, in a similar offhanded manner...:grinpimp:

It will be different with only a few of us - everytime, ok both times:rolleyes:, I've been there we've had a huge contingent and it takes hours for a short trail - but always a blast.

Carl

With this group, we usually have more turn out then expected- opposite of most events. I'd expect 10 trucks one way or another.

I'll update post #1 to reflect Aug 30.

I'd like to make it...I didn't chime because my calendar may change but the plan is to go.

Howdy! Yea, me three. I don't know for sure yet, but I am hoping to make it. The FJ Trail Team got their trailer in to the first section between the main gravel road and the Draw with no trouble. It is a bit harder to get into the main camping area, depending on how much rain/traffic there has been lately. FJ40LVR pulled his rig in on a trailer, but it did get a little hung up in the Draw. I'm in....again....

Although apparently NO ONE took pics of me (including me)...

Still planning to be there on the 30th. Possibly to camp. Bringing the 40 no matter the running condition. And a trailer. And a Tundra to pull it all...

A big fat maybe here. I won't realistically know until the Thursday before the trip.

I will either be by myself, the whole clan or somewhere in between.

How's that for decisiveness?

They're in my sig...

71 FJ40 ('06 Payette run) and a 85 RN60 (4Runner) ('07 Payette run).

last 2 years, heat hasn't been too bad up there:). Hopefully we get some light sprinkly rain before it gets dusk-ish...;)

Hey all you Payette veterans-
Do you think a stock Ram 3500 would be a suitable vehicle for this trail? Or would it just be too big?
Got a friend who recently got his first Toyota 4x4, but it's not running yet and he wants to see how we wheel. So the only 4x4 he has is his buddy's Dodge.
Otherwise he's riding shotgun with me.
