Not to risk putting this thread back on topic or anything, but when is this again?
As of my leaving the meeting, there hadn't been a meeting yet. And we discussed every possible run but this one.
So. When the hell we goin?
Since the 26th is this weekend, better speak up if'n ya want to run then.
Personally, I vote the 08/23. I'm even thinking of taking that week as my vacation before I lose it.

Working on something for this event that would determine the date, if it fails ether 8/23 or 8/30 works for me. Will know more in the next couple of days.

We try not to plan to fail - just get lost, and ether makes me light headed.

Does it looks as if there may be 2 Payette runs this year? Maybe a pre-run and full run? I'm covered either the 23 or the 30th. If we run Payette the 23rd, then there will have to be a mini-run somewhere for mi madre on the 30th.

Nope, that time frame is the Fossil Creek clean-up, probably September 27 & 28th.
 
Just to get us back on track and for those who skip straight to the last post (I updated in the first [post as well):

The FJC is now out of the shop:clap:. No trail team participation is forseen for this run, so the dates are up for grabs. to that point, Kevin made a valid point on campsite availabiltiy stating that Labor Day weekend may see higher demand and less availability:idea:. I thus propose we plan on Saturday, August 23 for our Payette creekbed bounce with camping optional the nites of Friday the 22nd and Saturday the 23. :cheers:

Meeting spot for Saturday morning departure would either be the Ba'ja by Ft. McDowell about 08:00 or the Mustang Fill 'er up in Payson about 09:30.

For Friday nite departure - I leave that to the individuals to coordinate.

Note: This is not a published trail, so please keep all directions to the trail PM's/emails.

It can and has been done without damage, but damage has occurred as well. How much lift/tires do you have?
