Wrapped it all up. She drives like a dream!

Great job! Did you use stainless hardware on most of the body bolts?

What's the deal with the large cutouts in both fenders as seen looking down through the engine bay? I know the one on the driver side is due to the steering box being removed, why the other one?

What kind of tach is that?

Yes, I used stainless throughout the build. Only used grade 8 or 10.9 on structure (critical) type areas.

About the fenders... Good eye. The PO says he cut the one, the wrong one first for the steering clearance, so he "made them match". I thought about correcting it, but I think its ok the way it is. Maybe better for cooling? ;)

Thats not a tach, thats a oil pressure backup guage. However, autometer does sell that size tach in that style. Auto Meter

Thanks for the compliments.

The only thing I may want to change is the three turn saginaw box. Putting a 4.5 turn box would be a bit better. But I am getting used to it, and in a way its kind of nice. I think it would be worse if the tires were 12.50's in stead of the 10.50's I have on there. It does track nice and straight. Had an alignment done on it at the local Les Shwab.

A winch would be a nice add on. :hhmm:

Started install of a Vintage Air AC system...

Adding a nice Vintage AC system with heat and defrost.

Having some fitment issues, but nothing too big. Found that the pull cables they provide wont fint the factory dash holes??? Need to sort that out...

It was very f'n fiddly to install. Didn't mount as designed, cut my hands many times, but with that said, after all is said and done, it's bad ass to have ac in a cruiser, and the heat kicks ass all over the factory heat.
I do not like the knobs provided and may get amaurer to make me some custom knobs because they are not labeled and will take practice to figure out without labels.

Anyhow, it's all good in the end.

Fog lights added

Thought I'd share some new fog lights I got from Spector off road. I really love the look of these OEM type lights. They were 80 for both.

I had Amaurer make me a fog lights switch as well.

That's beautiful, Crazygreek! Nice to see what a new coat of Spring Gren looks like - it's the colour I'm putting on my '77 next week after the primer has set. Very cool!

Wow! Great project. I looked, didn't see anything on your front bumper. Did you build it?
