Another day.
Brought a crock of chili that I made on Sunday, some fritos scoops, and a little pepperjack cheese.

Nice! I’m a big fan of tailgating while skiing. I usually bring my little Coleman stove and do ramen and sausages/hot dogs. Don’t know why more people don’t do it. Doing it out of the back of the 40 wins though.

I had a minor leak this morning on my lower radiator hose. I'm using original hoses, but, I switched out to band clamps with worm gear because the wires were basically shearing the hose. I don't recommend doing what I did. Anyway, I wonder if they loosen up over time, mine was kinda loose? Also, I wonder how much force a Gano filter will take before it gives up? I'd say that your motor is healthy enough to not wear one. On mine, I just watched the rust flow thru it for the most part, but, the opaque 5/8" filter on the heater line was a bit more catching of stuff. A several gallon sample run thru a coffee filter on the bench didn't reveal much on mine, I bet it is still stuck, or whatever.

Just make sure your coolant has enough freeze protection for your current weather.
I am having the same lower hose issue. I have a SBC, using a universal flex hose. This cold weather, I just can't get it tight enough. If not the standard wok gear clamps, what did you go with?

Are you using the stk radiator? Have you considered using a different lower radiator hose other than a universal flex hose? You might look into Gates 20573 for the lower and Gates 20416 for the upper hose. They should work. You will have to trim/shorten them a little bit. They will make your install look a little cleaner.

I have an aluminum champion direct replacement. That aluminum expanding a nd contracting with the changes in temp, but that new flex hose is just a POS I think. A new lower hose will be in order when it warms up.

I can't fit the bindings on the innermost ski on the bottom side of the rack right now, before next season I'll do some reconfiguring to raise it up about an inch.

It's not perfect but it works.

If I did that there would a gut wrenching sound as I tried to pull out of the garage. Not sure what would cost more to fix:
  1. Skis
  2. Garage
  3. Cruiser

Any one of those could easily cost over $2,500 on a budget.

Love your day of the dead figures. 👍🏽
Those all started out as a joke at a Mexican restaurant we were at, then my kids bought a set for Christmas for me!

Is LostSouls getting all the lifts running at the same time - wall to wall powder? !!

8' tall garage doors... Proper Prior Planning Prevents Piss-Poor Performance. ;)

That was Snowbowl that lost power a few weeks ago, LT shut down due to high winds.

Today was great, we usually spend the day on chair 4 skiing trees.

Yea, I was not talking about a power failure . . .
Last time I was there they had staffing shortages and the whole North side was not lift-served so we toured over to Area 51 for cheap thrills. Prior visits- chair 4 was delivering, fun fact- that used to be the Dreamcatcher at Targhee !

Area 51 was loaded with powder today, we made one pass through there on the way out.
Laid fresh tracks in Sac Jac trees until lunchtime today.
