^^ found a pic of Danny during the day, rare indeed.

Cotter pins are for wussies that don't want to take chances with their lives.... looking great BTW :)

Along with a torque wrench!

I was thinking last night, I forgot to tighten the nut on the center arm! NOW we are taking chances! That one is only finger tight right now.

And that was some 40 tech!

I finished everything up on the steering linkage this evening, measured everything out, tightened everything, but mt FSM doesn't have a torque spec for the center arm nut, WTF over? I was going to start cutting metal and get going on the rear quarters but it is "hotter than a 3 peckered goat" in my garage for some reason.

That is some West By God Virginia slang there!

Time for a beer and to play a game with my kids!

@Jdc1 what are your thoughts on the panels you bought?

My body guy likes the panels. He said they used a high quality steel and like how thick they are. The floor is bent because of how the ribs are punched. He said they are metal he can move it wherever he wants.

We're up to 1-mile walks now, 2 or 3 times each day... Slower than we like, but much better than sitting in a chair or laying in a bed.

Now that's what I like to hear! Before I could drive, or could just barely walk for that matter, I suddenly began enjoying going shopping (I actually hate going shopping) with my wife (chauffeur). That was a good antidote for cabin fever. That only lasted as long as I was unable to drive though. Once I was able to walk, then drive, things changed. My physical therapist wanted me to walk or ride a bike. Yes, it was slow to start with, but the slow will gradually pick up speed. Been there, done that.

Got the rear quarters welded in on Friday, a little hammer work, some trimming here and there and they turned out pretty decent. I still have some work to do around them, welding them to the horns and a patch along the inside edge of the tub.

Work, work, work

More hammer work, some grinding, and sanding. Tacked a few pinholes.

Cut a small section out to start welding it in, figured I could use a little elbow room.

Ran out of cut off wheels for the grinder.

2 gallons of black Monstaliner ordered today.............s*** is for real now.

Got the floor pan cut in place tonight, I am starting on the rockers now. Once everything looks like it will fit in place I need to pull them and shoot some weld through primer on all the spots that will be butted up against each other.

There are a lot of small tedious patches that need to be fabbed up in this area. Looks like the DS took a shot from a rock or a vehicle at one point, the PO smeared bondo on it and rolled on.

I also ordered some epoxy primer, activator, wax and grease remover from SPI today, a bucket of Rage body filler, and some sanding blocks from Amazon.

@Jdc1 this outer rocker is a bitch. Maybe 1/2 too short between the flanges, I had to cut the 90 at the back of the floor pan to get it close. It still is not quite right.
