Decided to prep the back wall for the same treatment

Four coats of Spectrum on the floor and 3 on the back wall. Now have to wait 10plus days before painting the back wall. Will have to decide if I want to paint the floor too.

FWIW doing the inside of the doors made a bigger difference in noise than the floor. I didn't do anything on the back wall so not exactly apples to apples. I did eventually do the roof though.

I'm gonna guess 2-3mm for the spectrum since I used a paint brush, I tried to slop it on but don't know how thick I got it.

Spectrum is sold plain or you can buy it with an additional thickness modifier. Spectrum™ Sludge Deadener - https://www.secondskinaudio.com/sound-deadening/spectrum-sludge

They talk about 1mm thickness per coat with the sludge and from my experience that seems about right. If you do try any of the sludge I would recommend you mix it a bit thinner than they recommend and only mix a little at a time. Of course I was using it in very low humidity and pretty warm temps so maybe it's not so bad about setting up quickly in more favorable climates.

I used two or three layers of the sludge to fill in all the voids on and around the Damplifier Pro and then put a couple of coats of plain Spectrum over everything to smooth out the surface. My intention was to try to replicate the factory look. I still need to topcoat it but will do that when I get the truck back to the US.

That would not be easy to remove. Your floors look great!

I tried to fill in all the gaps from putting the sheets down. I'm done with the Spectrum, it is what it is.

Installed new seals (foam type) on the joints of the HVAC /heater box without removing it. Not the easiest but didn’t want to mess with loosing and then refilling coolant.

Re foamed some of the doors.

Cleaned out as much outside debris as I could from the heater core.

Today started putting the dash/HVAC back together after playing with the Second Skin Luxury Liner Pro. First place to put it on was on the passenger side firewall. I used some of the metal tabs that were used to secure the factory firewall liner. Might not paint the floor or back wall if I can get this stuff to stay put using some double sided foam tape.

Sprayed some Corrosion Block into the front cab body mount holes.

Finally finished the Luxury Liner Pro. Used aluminum tape to connect all the pieces and to help protect the aluminum tape I put some duct tape over the aluminum to help protect from tears.
