That is super sweet. I wish I could pay that price for a fully restored one right now
I lock drivers side first then reach the driveshaft with left hand-turn shaft as locking with right hand.

SOR has a chart that dates it at 6/75. Factory installed hubs were a lot more common on the FJ55 than on the FJ40 in the US market.

I know that when my dad bought his ‘73 40 series from the dealer it came with drive plates. Dad then added warn hubs, and a roll cage.

I’ve got one we cleaned up.
Neat to see pictures of these Asco hubs. I've got one on a parts pig I picked up a couple years back (Cdn market '74, Warn hub on other side..) and never looked at it closely enough to realize it was an Asco until seeing this thread. I just figured it was some oddball hub / manufacturer that didn't last.
