Hi, is anyone experianced about canceling the airbag warning light on a '96 LX 450? It just went on without any clear ansignement.
Cannot detect failure by OBD.

Do a search. This is a very well covered subject.

Here - I did a quick search for you. Just because I was once newbie on here (wow - has it really been 13 years?) I remember not knowing where to start. But also, the FAQ section in the stickies is invaluable. There is SO much great information in there. Use it.

There is a really good search function up there in the top right. Just hit search, type in your keywords, select "this forum", and you should always find your answer. Everyone on here is willing to help but it helps if you at least do a quick search first. Most problems have been covered.

Dankeschön,
I found something ...

Here's one more link; follow the procedure exactly, it works.

^^^^^

That's the one that worked for me...when I had the issue about 3 yrs. ago. Got it first time....but some folks have had to do the Hokey Pokey a few times before it worked for them. Make sure you have a good ground.

I got it to work on one of my 80s but my other just won't turn off. I've tried over and over. Some think a larger grounding wire makes a difference.

Thanks a lot for the support ... due to the descriptions I was able to delete the airbag warning signal in less than 3 minutes!!!
No big deals just two wires were needed...

My clock spring crapped out, so my horn and airbag were dead. Replaced clockspring and gorn worked but airbag light stayed on till I did the cancelling trick already posted.
