Permanent red airbag light.

Hello,

I'm in UK with HDJ80 1995. All of a sudden I have a red air bag warning light on. Any history on this fault?

One cause IME can be if the cranking battery has been disconnected (or dead) for some period of time, that can cause the SRS light to come on.
The fix in that case is to reset the SRS computer. AFAIK a Toyota hand held tester (Dealer scan tool) and some high end diagnostic scanners/tools can do that, or there's a hack method discussed previously on the forum:
