Got the master cylinder bolted up. Hand to make a spacer/adapter to make the mc ports clear a rib on the firewall. Also to adapt the 3 hole pattern to the 4 hole mc pattern. Got the parking brake cable mounted up and now functional as well.

Fun with hard lines today. Parts store selection is slim. I got creative with some bends to use all premade lengths. I could not find a line long enough or a union, so I used an old piece and made a plug for the extra port.
I think I got all the leaks sealed. Waiting for help to bleed them. Hopefully they don't leak more after bleeding..lol:rolleyes:

Got my wide body intake and header installed with the remflex gasket. It's not torqued down yet, but everything seems to line up well.

I rigged up the NoiseMaker5000 exhaust system (temporary use only). My friend Mark stop by and helped me bleed the brakes. Then we took it for a spin around the block. It drives. It is loud as hell and feels like an old school bus but at least it drives again

Haven't had much time to work on this lately. Had to prepare for the last 2 races of the short course season. We had a double header this past weekend. Got 1st in my class in both races and got a 2nd overall and 3rd overall. Won the series championship as well. Good times

Now back to the wagon. I am trying to get it done...."enough" to drive it to the Good Guys car show this weekend.

I thrashed on the wagon all week to get it ready for the Good Guys car show that was over this last weekend. Got it road ready, licensed and insured on Friday. Headed out Saturday morning to the show. Made it about 8 miles from my house and it crapped out. Swapped out a dirty fuel filter and off we went. Made it about 5 more miles and crapped out again. Luckily I brought a friend with as we had to push the wagon across an intersection...lol. I then called for a rescue parts mission. We rigged up a temporary fuel tank and off we went again. Made it to the show and drew a pretty good crowd. On the way home, we ran out of gas a few miles from the gas station. Called in another favor and filled it back up. Finally made it home.
For Sunday, I rigged up a larger temp tank and made it to and from the show with no issues. It was a great weekend. Thanks to all my friends and my Dad for helping make this happen. I'll post up some pix tonite.:grinpimp:

I knew when I reinstalled the gas tank, I would have issues. I went for it anyways and well it came back to bit me....lol. I plan to pull the tank back out and have it cleaned out for good. Lesson learned the hard way.:meh:

Work laptop, I had been using for work and play, crashed. Got new ones for both now. Still learning how to work some functions.

Couple pix from the show

The Rat-Rod next to you may have some clearance issues....

Got the sway bar all hooked up. Swapped in a new clutch master and slave today. Couple shots of the dash with various year switches and such. Got the blower motor hooked up now.
Going to remove the gas tank tomorrow and drop it off to be cleaned. Then work on the heater box and duct. Winter is coming...lol:grinpimp:

Got the gas tank back and it's as clean as new inside. Installed it last night and took it for a spin. No issues and no old gas smell anymore.:grinpimp:

Sweet

Florence Junction area Jack?

Sorry if I missed this detail at the start of the thread but are you planning on eventually painting it or keeping it au naturel?

Thanks guys. I have really been enjoying getting this wagon going. I plan to keep improving/restoring as I go. For now, the patina will stay, but one day it may get painted???:grinpimp:
