What are your plans for it if you buy it? If you are looking for a trail rig this has some potential, but it doesn't look like a great candidate for a restoration. some of the pics looks like it has some rust issues and probably alot more covered with bondo, get a magnet and check. If you can take it home for $1650 though I think it is worth it.

Stand by for further information.

So does this mean that not only do you not have the money for this truck, you do not have a place to work on it or the money that it would take to make it safe and functional?

Or?

Northern east coast rust on that truck and the seller states that the frame is solid?

That, right there, is some funny s***.

Finances are no issue....space...not so much....

Just trying to justify buying another project rig, and 'dreaming' that it isn't just a rust bucket with a hacked engine swap, rust and failing mechanicals......

Barns in northern Mass must emit some sort of magical rust inhibitor?:flipoff2:

If the frame was TRULY in good shape....it would make a fine project . The price is not to bad from what little you can actually see...but that 400 has to go.

Seller seems to be very generous with his rattle can primer application.....I'd go look at it if it were close enough....they always seem to photo better than they look irl.....

If finances are no issue, I would probably pass. I think you can find one for more money but less than what you would spend on this one to make it comparable.

I think Poser is correct, be wary of that east coast rust! I grew up on the east coast and everything metal rusted....

Just my .02

Good Luck!

No, no... .... the owner said TWICE that the frame is OK. It has to be....

The picture of the right rear quarter scares me.

I paid more than that for mine and that one doesnt have any rust compared to what mine had. Also remember....they arent making any more of these. any panel can be cut out and replaced. Body work isnt that hard , just takes time. Besides, working on its half the fun.

over

Dreams over....it's been listed for a long long time....

If anyone else is interested - I have the seller's e-mail
