does anyone just do the manual adjustment under the hood with a screwdriver?
After learning my lesson years ago, only use that option to align the 2 headlights to each other.

depending on amount of lift installed, it can be easy to over extend the adjustment and will require replacement $$$$. Better to adjust the linkage and fine tune with the screws.

Stock OEM arm was bottomed out in the slot. The carb linkage noted above is pictured below next to the OEM linkage. I have no complaints at all with the carb linkage but I am going to tinker with another option. The studs on the carb linkage are a tad small compared to the OEM part. 92-93mm center to center places the headlights in spec per FSM on our 2019 with TJM PACE system. suspension

Well my drivers side adjusts and my passenger side (Right) does nothing.

Edited: Passenger side does move! Local Toyota service tech suggested taking an 8mm socket on a palm ratchet and gently turn the adjustment on the low beam side counterclockwise until it stops. He stated to only use my index finger, middle finger and thumb while rotating the ratchet. He said someone (PO) likely tried to rotate the adjustment screw too fast causing the gimble inside the headlight assembly to jump.

I followed his instructions and was then able to go back clockwise and adjust the passenger side down. the photo below is what I was starting with at 16.8 ft. Driver side (Left) was 38" to the cut off (Red Line) and the Passenger was knocking the Racoons out of the trees at 50 1/2". Quite a difference. I lowered the passenger side to where the cut off is at 41".

27mm extension nets a 2" lower cut off on the headlight at 3M or roughly 10 ft.

Now to adjust fog lights!

I was easily able to order the TJM part. They had it in stock (in San Diego) and I had it in a few days. The person I ordered through asked if I found out about this part due to the i8MUD website. Pretty funny.

I just had BP-51's installed and I am blinding drivers. Looking forward to this fix.

Just got directed to this link, as I'm experiencing my lights out of adjustment. Between the Weber Carb linkage, TJM setup and the 4WDShed one, does anyone have strong opinions one way or another? I haven't touched the stock stuff yet, and will try to this weekend, but figured I'd ask.

It's a pretty simple adjustment and not much to go wrong. I've had the Weber on mine for a couple years now since TJM hadn't started importing theirs yet and I have no complaints. If I were to buy one again now I'd probably just get the TJM one since it was made for our cars.

I have a new Redline p/n 99006.134. Can send it to you if you will pay shipping.

So, last year after I installed my King lift I was getting a lot of oncoming flashes. I read through this thread and ordered the longer adjustable linkage. Before I got around to installing it I was messing with techstream and saw the option to adjust the headlights. Re-calibrate them. I did that and that fixed my light pattern without any manual adjustments. Much simpler solution. Hope this works for everyone.

Installed the TJM setup today. Attempted to try and aim/set the height but gotta be honest, as a one man operation I'm not sure how that turned out. Kinda followed the idea of dropping it into the lowest section of bracket. I guess I'll find out the next time I can take it out at night.

I did the weber carb linkage last year. Works great. However, if I'd known there was an option in Techstream, I would've tried that. @Casual Cruiser, where'd you see that in techstream?

It will be a week or so before I can check techstream but on my 2018 Landcruiser I don’t remember it being difficult to find. And I was looking for it intentionally.

This is what I've used to aim headlights in all of my vehicles that needed aiming.

Back to this.....added the linkage out back, on an 18, is the adjustment for the headlights under this plastic shroud? These markings seem to indicate yes, but hadn't pulled it off yet
