97 FZJ80 knocking noise when accelerating (1 Viewer)

My 80 when I accelerate from a stop I get a slight knocking noise from the 4wd high/low shifter. If only happens for a few seconds and at low RPM. It’s for sure coming from the shifter. I can feel it. Just not sure why. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Exhaust hanger mounts broken and exhaust rubbing in drive shafts? Maybe I had a similar noise and this is what it ended up being. There are two. Grab ahold of your exhaust when it’s cold and see if you can move it up and down.

Slip Yoke

Lube your shafts and report back.

Broken motor mounts
Bad bearings
Low oil levels in TCase
Not TCase at all
Front wheel bearings

Oh the resonator! Mines cut off so only had two to replace. Nice catch.
