I would definitely be down for a set! Pretty sweet knobs

I'll take a set if the price is right, what's your price?

Me too...

I need to send the drawings to my friend so he can put it in CAD and get an accurate price. I'll let you know as soon as he tells me.

Very cool knobs. I like them allot.

I would take a set with shifters as well. I would like them in aluminium if you can.

well you sure got a lot of interest in the knobs but you've done some great other work on a big project. any new progress. I'm keen to see what other custom stuff you come up with. also interested to know what you think about the power steering set up and ease of installation.

Sorry it has been a while with any update. We hit a slow time; Dave got slammed with a lot of work and my job demanded 100% of my attention and the paint guys took way longer than expected. So here is what we got:

According to the painters, the parts should be done middle of this week and I'll go to pick them up at the end of the week :bounce:

Dave has installed the Ramjet, transmission, T case, axles, wheels, etc... and basically all he is doing now is running lines and cables. He is being really anal about what he is putting on the vehicle to make it look and function flawlessly. I think he is more excited about this project than I am (which is a good thing).

Franklin40, the power steering set-up was actually a straight forward no brainer. Even with the additional reinforced plates, it went in with no problem. There were some little roadblocks like the steering rod is 7/8 Hex (point to point it is about 1.25") which got in the way of the headers so I had to get block huggers to fix that problem. Because the reinforcement plates built up dimensions on the frame, the bumper needs to be modified because the holes do not line up anymore on the side support. And because of the huggers, the knock sensor had to be relocated to the other side. When you start tweaking one thing, you create a chain reaction!

Here are some pics of what I have so far:

That I can relate to!!!

I'm sure its not but it kinda looks like the fan is gonna hit the air filter. :)

Looking great!

It does ever so slightly touch the air filter, but there is an additional 3/16 space to move the filter back. I do not know if that is enough space.

That's pretty close... Is there room to put a 90 on there and then the filter or a fan blade spacer? That could be enough space, but I wonder if the fan blade will flex when moving and become a problem? Just some thoughts...

Why don't you use the rounded rectangular filter that most guys Ron in ls1 swapped hotrods? I've seen tons on swapped g bodie in SA

Perhaps the one on the 05-06 GTO intake kits.
I'm still not a big fan of a filter right behind the fan, but I guess 10 HP is not a big deal in a land cruiser with a 350.

Just came across this thread and wow! Those knobs are one of the few additions to a cruiser that I like more than stock. I would be interested in a set.

Love the knobs!! I'd love a set for my 1980. Let me know when you get a price worked up.

After 3 months at the upholstery place my seats are done! Instead of getting new ones I kept the ones that were in there and got them re-upholstered. I chose a saddle tan with black stitching.

Smokin!

After a 3 months wait, the body and parts are done at the liners. Camoliners are a real good bunch of guys. As we drove up the other day, all the parts were laid out for inspection. This is what they ended up doing: The bottom of the tub was sand blasted then they used POR15 on various parts to combat against any type of rust. Then they sprayed both the sound and ceramic Lizard Skin on the firewall, under the tub and inside the roof. They prepped the parts, primed them and sprayed the liner. after the liner was cured they used an automotive top coat with the same color to insure uniformity.
We loaded everything in the u-haul, drove it back to the mechanic. Looked like Dave started playing with the different wiring harnesses for the Ramjet. We unloaded the parts and put the tub on the frame. When I was lifting the tub to put it on the frame I could not understand why David did not lower it completely from the lift so I asked him. He said it is completely off the lift! The HFS spring lift kit is awesome; it makes the vehicle quite high. I am just hoping it will fit in my garage!
The only concern I have with the liner is that this product builds up thickness and a lot of it. I will keep you posted on any type of issues regarding lining the whole entire vehicle.
I asked Jason at Camoliner if he would be willing to do this again; without hesitation he said no, it was a bigger job than he thought it would be. He prefers customers bringing in completed vehicles.

Very nice! It took so long I forgot you were doing the liner... AWESOME! Should all be down hill now. :D Congrats.
