do boots qualify as shoes :hmm: :flamingo:

Seems the HG replacement wasn't as proactive as first thought.

Robbie called stating there were signs (he was specific, but it's Monday, so phone's been lit up, all day, didn't get all. Pics to follow, though) of preliminary failure, as well the rear heater hard lines were corroded enough to be a replaceable item, considering the ease of which to do when the heads off.

Was rushed on phone, but axles, Birf's, and diff gears were dropped at cryo Friday, heads at machine shop today, but won't be resurfaced until Monday.

All has to be done by next Thursday.

My sentiments exactly, but glad it was uncovered while already replacing, not BFE.

Keepin it optimistic, good man Chris! It'll be great once finished.

For the record.

Do you really want me to go there?
:)

Undecided on that.

Only have until next Thursday to button up and start the return trip back. Thinking Robbie has his hands full.

My hesitation had nothing to do with Robbie, all to do with relinquishing responsibility and not experiencing portions of the process, but the head gasket isn't my forte, nor gearing diffs or TC surgery.

Sent a rebuilt box with the 105 sector shaft and pitman arm to Robbie, so saved him the trouble, but if time runs short on the other todos, that'll be first on my list to complete.
