Unless they're pink I could care less who's name is on them!
I'm just not, nor probably will be, one that can justify/afford $500+ per corner.
No doubt that there is a market for a decent 2.5 reservoir set for $800-900 at which time I'll roll the dice and break out the wallet.

Put me down for the group buy on the Dobinsons

Just for the discussions sake, does anyone have remote resivoir Bilsteins? 5165's I believe. They are under $200 each

They are 2.0

seems like those need custom fab work to fit an 80, unless there is a vendor or I'm misinformed

I don't think you're misinformed, I'm hoping Frank @FloridaFJ80 will put together some 2.5" w\remotes for sub $900/set early next year.

If he can't then maybe @AutoCraft Aus can make something happen in a group buy!

The only 2.0s I have used that I would recommend are the ICON stage 1's, 670mm [26.5"] long, front and rear, valved nicely, suit a vehicle up to around 7000# .

Best bang for your buck 2.0 set up IMHO.
But don't these limit droop on a 3" lift (ie. they are rated for a 0-3" lift so if they are the proper length for a 0" lift aren't they too short for a 3" lift)?

My friends and I run Kings 2.5 remote res shocks, their shocks are custom with stainless steel shafts, extended travel, and valved firmer than mine. It was a big investment but still one of the best investments on the truck. I didn't have much to compare to because I went from blown OEM shocks to Kings, didn't have anyone around with OME or other brands to test drive. After riding in some of other mudders with OME and Fox, I'm glad I went with Kings, because it let me drive 55mph on sandy dirt roads and drift around the turns, it was a great feeling.
Other benefits that comes with Kings, you can rebuild them, you can revalve them, remote res is freaking awesome, I crank up the firmness when I hit the dirt road.

If you guys want to be a badass, have quality suspension, get all the ladies in your ride, then King shocks are for you!!!
If you have a family and you work hard, then you owe to yourself but most of all you owe these kings to your family, they are the best part of you therefore they deserve the best from you. Are you man enough for King Shocks? Be a man and get a set of King Shocks:flipoff2:

Yes, every ~24K-30K miles is their suggestion (every other year if you occasionally off-road). How much does it cost to rebuild them?

I think around $300 to rebuild. I no longer DD my LC so i probably put about 2000-4000 per year.
I put 20k since I purchased it, but I drove about 18k in a year.

WHY DO YOU SOUND LIKE A KING SALES REP? ACTUALLY SOUND WORSE THAN A SALES REP...ALL THEY ASK YOU IS WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO USE THE TRUCK FOR.
