My Lexus LX 450

1. 1997 LX450
2. Grant
3. Black Mamba
4. 122k Miles 4k on new motor
5. Previous owner put in brand new short block, gasket, timing chain, camshaft, crankshafts, tensioner assembly etc. It's basically a brand new engine setup as the first engine died due to mechanic's malpractice...Sad but true. :bang:
Brand new Michelin tires (don't remember the model name). Planned mods would be OME lift kit of the 2.5 inch variety among other things as the budget allows. Paint needs buffed, wetsanded in multiple areas as the daughter of the previous owner liked to claw the paint with her fingernails.
6. Daily Driver after I sell my Mazdaspeed 3. (Any takers?? lol)

Body is super clean. slight oxidation by the hood.
100_0623.jpg

Not sure if I would call this a mod, there is no life w/o music! Next up is fixing the a/c vents in the dash.
100_0621.jpg

Part of the baseline process: removing a large amount of wiring that led nowhere. Yes, that is home wiring in the upper left, it went to the rear, maybe for trailer brakes.
100_0624.jpg

Not planning to do any major mods, just enjoying the ride for now.

I like to see m0ar of this!!!

I like the John Deere green look - the other one Ive seen belongs to the flareless 80 of Brian Macgyver. Country boys have a soft spot for that color :D

New 80 owner

I bought this a few months ago. Its my first one and I love it.

1995 fjz80
200,000 miles
PO provided all the service records and kept up on maintaince. Everything works
no name yet but it is a tank
brian ruff
fresno california
Only mod is a trailer brake system

Mods in the future:
3 inch lift
285/75 tires
roof rack
cdl switch
cb radio
dual batteries
stereo system
onboard air
lockers of some sort, maybe lockright
lots of lights inside and out
bumpers and sliders
extra gas tank
ac output
an extra 80 for parts

not necessarily in that order. It will be a treasure hunt in craigslist and the classified here as the budget allows. I plan on owning an 80 from now on. Very impressed with both the solidness of this truck and with the community of help and support ive found here.
