76 Series Seat Covers

Does anyone have detailed pictures on what the 76 series land cruiser front and rear seats look like?

I plan on using them, canuckmariner had a good experience with them. The guy said they are a direct fit for a 77 seats.
I'm paranoid and I just want to make sure....

Check with tlcruiserman, he has an early 90s HZJ77 and an newer HZJ76 IIRC.

I've tried looking before a bunch of places but nothing that I could find.

I must confess I truly do enjoy the bells and whistles on the DS seat.

While you are posting all your random, 77 threads (hmm... why could that beÉ) can you find out how I can go about repairing my sticking PS windowÉ (my keyboard is screwed tonight). I suspect the answer lies within the 80s section but I wouldnèt want to sully my reputation by venturing in there. LOL

ZX's come with all the goodies you need and nothing you don't. I like the different seat fabric. My dads 73 has the same seats as your 77 and the fabric is wearing HEAVILY. He needs seat covers bad..... I want to prevent this from happening.

I've bit the bullet and ordered some covers from Inland in Australia for some 76 seats.
I'll be posting up at the end of my with my results.
3 weeks to make them. ETA 2 weeks shipping.
When I get back from school I'll do a report and a review.

Well I received them yesterday with errors made on them.
I am currently going though the process of getting them delt with.
Not too happy about everything that has happened. When it all gets sorted out I will report back with a full story.

Does anyone else know any reputable dealers for seat covers in Australia?
I have inquired about escape gear seat covers which I was hoping these would be somewhat similar to but they are wanting $550us not including shipping, plus I would have to wait until September.
I am overall really annoyed with the whole process of these seat covers.

Hey Foreal, here are the seats for my 76 series. I had the seat covers made locally here in Jeddah, Very durable material, not sure what its called in english but they use it for large tents in the desert.

I removed the headrest for the passenger and rear seats when I took the pictures below, but they're back on now.

there was specific orders to have map pockets on the covers I ordered.
Nothing, and he has realized that the mistake has been made that there there were supposed to be cut outs to access the original seat pockets. I also think I received two drivers seats as they are identical with the cut outs.
He offered my 20 dollars to get pockets tailored in. I am shaking my head.
I don't have much faith after the run around I have had with them already.
I have asked for my money back so I will see where it goes from here.
I might bite the bullet for some escape gears but i will have to wait until september. UGH!

s*** buddy, why didn't you just get a local shop to make them up? less headaches, boat shops are usually really good at this stuff.

i would ship them back for a full refund and then go for a walk around the block ...

Have you guys looked at "Cabelas" or "Bass Pro Shops" in the States?
Their catalogs feature numerous seat covers suitable for a number of seat configurations. Many of their covers will be in a camo pattern (They are a hunting supply company) but I believe they do offer some in generic colors.
