Did the late F155 commonly referred to as the F.5 still have the four threaded holes for the oil filter? By the boss on the picture posted of the 71 it could be drilled and tapped.
Not sure if the manifolds are from a 74 or the original one from the 73 engine. Either way only has three thread holes for the oil filter. For a while after 3/69 when the canister style oil filter was replaced by the spin on type an adapter was used between the filter housing and intake manifold.
I do!
It is towards the fire wall.
I have a hose line already attached to it.
Why I asked about this one.
I figured it was a emissions port of some sort as @ToyotaMatt pointed out.
Don't know if this answers any questions, again this is my '71. Three hole adapter plate for oil filter, hose to the right in photo goes to brake booster.

I would put a proper plug in it and be done. The pictures in my head never match the pictures I actually took I thought I had a better pic of the whole intake. This is from my 7/69. This picture shows how this intake will NOT work with a set of Mark's Offroad/downey tri-wye headers
on edit - this post was intended to show the plug in the intake, but also mentioned an interference issue with the headers I encountered with the wide runner intake. It has been confirmed that this combo can work with massaging of the header tubes and material removal from the intake casting.
I see that. I am not sure why, but I could not get them to work together on the engine nor could I get them to fit/line up on the garage floor. Here is the interference and resulting misalignment of the holes.

I elected to use a narrow runner intake from a later model engine, purely because it was sitting on the shelf.

You could ASK (not that I guarantee an answer). It seems you have a little bit of a chip on your shoulder; don’t know where that came from, especially since I helped you acquire a ConFerr seat you were after.
The wide runner intake found on 68 and early’69 engines was the ONLY exception to fitment of the header, because it’s extra wide runners are just too fat, compared to ALL THE OTHER intakes. I considered dealing with it, and talked to my header builder about it 15 years ago, when I took over making the headers from Downey. The tighter required radius bend would have been too sharp, and even mandrel bent, would have compromised the tubing. Not worth it just to squeeze that one year into the app.
All that said, @Vintij74 was determined to have both, and he filed the intake and dimpled the header until they worked. He has pics posted.
