Howdy. Got my new motor today and a year ago when I tore this thing down, I did not remember, (and did not write down) how the domed "hockey puck" rubber insulators stack up.
Tech manual picture is hard to interpret, and actually shows a different arrangment on the passenger side than driver's.
If someone could take a peek under their stock original FJ, and give me the order of the "sandwich" (including where the engine bracket flange goes in there), I'd appreciate it.

Example: tech manual shows driver side:

frame, hockey puck (dome side up), engine flange, hockey puck (dome side up).

Passenger side:

frame, hockey puck (dome side up), hockey puck (dome side up), engine flange.

This doesn't seem right.

Thanks!

Man. that's just filthy, Ed!

Hijack-any source of those hocky puck mounts in Poly??

The rubber ones have about 1 good year in them and then they are squishy.

Hey, Andrew, I have the old hockey puck OEMs off of my FJ40 I can send you. I promise they aren't squishy. They are....like hockey pucks!

You can double the life by swapping the top and bottom. The only one takes all the abuse.
