I thought I saw someone post this a while back (thought it was Wes)

Search does not pull it...

So for all you folks running a 70 series pitman arm - P/N?

Also, can you use it with a 60 series relay rod end?

And, can we see pics of the arm showing less droop than the 60 series pitman arm?

I am putting 60 series PS box on FJ40 and thinking about this pitman arm option...

TIA,

They are spendy for a new one $$$
I'm pretty sure 60 tre will fit the 70 arm.

It has less drop but if you run highsteer arms there's really not enough meat to drill it out and weld in a sert for 80 series tre's.

esp when ott or others are not that exp.

How are you connecting the Rod to the steering arm?

I wouldn't use it or a lifted su truck. Generally guys want them if they are doing a springover and there is draglink interferance with the leafs. Charla's BJ42 has the 60 arm on the 60 box with about a 2.5" lift and the draglink angle is about as good as it could be.

Here's a pic of a SO BJ74 RHD. If you really want a 70 arm, anybody with a su lifted 70 should be happy to trade you four a 60 seies one.

Personally I'd probaby just buy a highsteer kit and be done with it (as a bolt up) as cheap as they are these days... Plus your going to want beefier rods and ends in the future. This arm should be fine or a 60 arm drop is fine too on a SU

I remember when they were almost double that.

Why not just use one of the arms used on cross-over conversions. Some examples include:

I really like the arms from Sky (installed on my 4Runner, and FJ40 with FJ60 box). I have an arm from allpro forsale if you're interested, $35.
