@ChaserFJ60 , being totally computer illiterate, regarding #1 on your concern list, could there not be some way, digitally, to render the file unusable if it is shared. just an old f$#ktard thinking out loud :meh:
Nope, Once a file is sold regardless of format it can be copied and distributed unfortunately. I may try to figure something out though.

I just have a hunch that somewhere out there is a man with more money that he knows what to do with and is just purchasing land-cruiser parts aimlessly hoarding them. I fear that there is no shortage in parts, just a shortage in parts availability.
ONE?! more like a bunch😆

Yep, if a Tesla vehicle can be hacked then a cnc/cad file can also be hacked. Nothing is truly secure in the digital realm.

Happy New Year everyone! Lets start the year with more rare parts! I had never seen anything like it before. A rear cargo liner for a 60 series! Does anyone have a photo of one installed in a truck? :D

Repurposed 7x part??? The rear corners don’t have the 45 degree angle that the floor of a 60 Series does (where it hits the D pillar).

Not trying to be a party pooper - this is an amazing find. I just want to tease it out a little bit more.

Hahaha, no party pooping! Just kidding. Yeah it was kinda odd but was told it was for a 60. This was in the Netherlands, however, it could have come from any European country in reality. Maybe it was a European dealer thing? An add on.

Was that at Maarten’s? Looked like he had some wild stuff.

Anyway, here’s what I’m talking about with the back corners in a 6x. There’s a 45* angle at the base of the D pillar on the inside. I’ve exaggerated a little with the red lines obviously.

Low roof inclinometer in my 8 seater HJ61 with Camry headrests.;). And sliding rear windows.View attachment 3207994
Did you put that overhead console in? I'd seen a couple low roof 6x before where people had put one in, but NEVER heard of any low roof models coming from the factory with one. Only a few of the high roof ones.

Yes,
installed it myself ,but the low roof 24V VX models in Europe had it installed from the factory. Some GX specs also did get some of those installed.

You cannot realistically stop people from copying files, but you can go to lengths to make the copied file useless. If you are interested, I would suggest looking into DRM's (Digital Rights Management) and encryption. You may be able to find your solution with those tools.

Where'd you see the data on which GX spec rigs got it? Not doubting you; just want to see where all it was possible to get one back in the day for my own curiosity's sake. Though I had always been certain from past threads here that no North American low roof 6x series ever got it from the factory and it was only ever just an option for the high roof models. Now I want to try and get my dirty paws on one.
