Jerry,
I am currently trying to replace my deck in my 2005 LC. The stereo shop that put in the amps and sub and speakers is saying they dont know a way to install a deck, Is there a step by step write anywhere or is this it for a single or double DIN? I would be glad to pay for one if its available
Hi, Jerry give me a call 803-482-2249. And ask for Chris. I can certainly help with this

Is there a solution to replace an '07 LX470 nav screen w manual HVAC controls and an aftermarket HU? I have all the bits from a '98 part out (including full wiring harness) I could use. I'm sure there's a write-up somewhere. Anyone have a link?

Reading through this all the metra harness mentioned doesn’t work for the LX is the ML stereo wiring that different?

I ended up doing some reading I can remove the stock amplifier and use the stock head unit to a new amplifier. I need to draw it out before I tackle it.

For the novice electrician in the group, what does the 68 ohm resistor do here? Just curious how someone came up with wiring a resistor in here and why and why 68 ohms? I have a 2006 LC and I’m also looking to fix a audio head unit issue which is causing my front speakers to not work.
It has something to do with the aux cord creating interference with the climate controls. The climate controls are measuring interior and exterior temperatures and the resistor is an adjustment to keep the climate control reading properly rather than signaling it won't operate due to a problem (see attached).
