06 lx470 no nav, climate, backup cam, radio working (2 Viewers)

I have been chasing this issue for a while now. It would go in and out of functioning so in this hot summer I left the AC on before it went out again and looks like it’s gone for good. Thankful my AC settings are remembered.

I’ve tried unplugging each module related to see if it’s isolated to one but no luck. Individually then all together unplugged nav ecu, amp, climate, radio, multimedia screen (amp plugged in for sound confirmation) with no luck at all.

i had this problem in my 2004 Lex LS430, which has a very similar screen. I ended up replacing the whole screen unit with a used one from ebay, and that fixed it.

I’m trying to retain the original screen and this isn’t my daily driver so I’m up for the challenge if anyone can direct me. I’ve heard of bad capacitors and cracked solder and would like to try and see if I can fix this unit
