Not to gloat but gotta show off my 500 dollar, 2 owner, California desert/rust free, 215k beauty. Currently tuning, sealing myriad leaks and getting aftermarket sticker shock. After building a few other brands and loving my bone-stock 97 T100 SR5 4x4 to the tune of 350k I can't wait to start building my dream expedition machine. I have already burned many hours here reading threads and scoping pics. Looking forward to posting progress reports...

OME Lift, 2" body lift, SBC current in construction (Q-Jet on GMPP Bowtie Vortecs), rust huntin and fixing, painted hood, Monstaliner pending on roof, ARB AirLocker in rear. 4.11 diffs (from FJ-62 in a boneyard in Brownsville TX) and new bearings/seals, 31x10.50s for snow, pending 35x12.50s on 16x8 rims.
6. Driving through scrub oak (herculiner was put on by some PO, but I use it with the oak for protection), Canyonlands Utah, recreation, hauling, and oh yeah: fun

125 pages of the awesome 60 series and still going strong. It's unbelievable Toyota should take note of the cult following of an incredible icon :)

They did and they "thanked us" by making the fj cruiser.

The 200 series is awesome to drive though.
