Just went to every auto store and to Harbor Freight...no luck. I have tried searching but havent found much on where to purchase the socket (54mm nut to get the hub nuts off to replace front bearings). If anyone knows or can offer advice I would appreciate it.
Cheers.

northern tool will also have it in 3/4in drive if you have a store local. Just remember to pick up a 3/4"-1/2" adapter if you do.

alternative way to use a chisel and hammer - you think I am joking - absolutely not did that many times.

2 3/16 or 2 1/8 @ any sears, etc.

This.

I got the socket and adapter from there.

I got mine from Amazon. Whoever did the axle service for the PO used the chisel method. I did the same to remove since I was replacing everything.

My local auto parts store had it, but it was labeled "Toyota 4x4" 55mm. It measures 54 mm.

My sears had them. Found out with my axle that even dealerships use the chisel method :(

I can bring one downtown tomorrow if you still need

The 2 1/8" Snap on socket I tried was way to fat to go inside.

I picked up an OTC 54 mm hub socket from Amazon for $15
