I doubt I will have a time schedule making my way back to VA. I'd happily run with ya.
If anyone in the Colorado area (or anyone hanging around after LCDC) wants to do a few trails in Breckenridge any time during the week after Telluride... I'll be there with family all week doing trail runs. Always great to have trail partners. :steer: :steer: :steer: :steer:

That's a long haul home! Would gladly meet up. Will move to Breck lodging on Sunday... Probably do runs starting Monday. Let me know... :)

I'll PM my cell phone to you...

We gave up on Telluride lodging and are staying in Placerville, which is a 20 minute drive according to Google...

Pretty sure most days will be pretty full of trails, so lots of hang out time on the trail for lunches, & some dinners before heading to hotel for the night...

after searching back and forth I ended up in Placerville probably the same hotel. I like that I can cancel without penalty where as the Telluride properties would lose a nights rate. That keeps my options open if I see something in town that works. A 12 mile drive isnt bad to save 50% for a highly rated hotel vs some of the bad reviews on the properties I was looking at.

If you dont mind, which hotel?

When I put in 4 nights the rate was $172. I then did 3 nights and closer to 130 that was based on room availability and type. So I am changing rooms the 4th night swapping a King for a queen at $124 a night. Looks like a great breakfast and the reviews are really good

I may risk it and try to get a camping spot. Cost seems to be about as much as an entry level roof top tent that I can use over and over...

I'll check the rules at the spot I booked, if there are car restrictions, I'd welcome others to join and share my site.

Extra wheeling post-Telluride?

If you're up for it (happy to do anything from easy to tricky)... let me know and I'll PM my cell phone #.

Id be down...I spend a lot of time wheeling that area since its close proximity to Denver...lots of fun little cabins and beautiful areas to see

If any of you are wanting to get any work done before telluride with @sleeoffroad start booking your appointments now as they are filling up.

Also the new shop/building is awesome!

It is sweet.

What is your guess on the Saturday night Dinner time wise. I dont have a room that night and was debating getting something close by or getting part way home

What are you having done next? Inquiring minds want to know....
Scheduled my routine maintenance for July as I only like Slee doing it. May need brakes/battery by then. Stock brakes last forever on these trucks! Also new tires. :)

Would LOVE to have a shop like Slee nearby for my “routine maintenance “, but it’s a bit of a drive from here.:steer:
.......I’ve GOT to find a good independent shop around here...

Agree on stock brakes lasting seemingly forever...
I’m still on the original rotors, and that’s with 103k miles, 35’s and an 8000lb rig! Amazing.

my brakes were getting soft around the 100k mark..Ended up changing out everything (F/R brakes, rotors and calipers), the caliper pins on the front were frozen and had to be drilled out. kind of a PIA, but oh well..Should be all set on brakes for at least another 100k
