Back in December I saw a social media posting about 4PlusProducts Kingdom bumper and that they may be available. I contacted @lcwizard and placed an order. Took about 3 months for the bumper to be manufactured and delivered but the wait was worth it. For my '85 FJ60 I wanted full frontal protection but don't like the way the newer ARBs look. The Kingdom has a much cleaner appearance while offering good frontal coverage, and it is stout. I also ordered the bumper for Warn 8274 fitment.

First step was removing the stock bumper. That took some cutting, grinding, and drilling.

With the bumper off we did a test fit of the Kingdom and the fitment was perfect. Rails on the Kingdom slide into the frame rails.

On this '85 the frame horns are welded on and do not interfere with bumper fitment so I left them on but they had to be drilled out. Alignment holes were present in the frame rails and I used those as guides for drilling through the frame horns.

With the winch mounted I used a front end loader on a tractor to position the bumper.

With the mass of the bumper and winch supported by straps the bumper was slid and wiggled into place. All of the mounting holes lined up perfectly but I did need to do some wiggling of the bumper in aligning the holes.

There is a couple of inches clearance between the motor of the Warn 8274 and the grill. For comparison the lower mounted Warn 12K on my other FJ60.

High quality bumper and and the excellence of construction made installation smooth.

Very nice bumper. I need one.

@Godwin The outside hoops enter the “top” of the bumper shell at a very acute/obtuse angle. Do those continue under the shell? I like the work @lcwizard does. I’ve got his u-bolt flip plates and his rear bumper/ tire carrier is my #1 choice some day. Thanks for sharing this

The outside hoops are welded to the top of the bumper shell, they do not pass through.

Very nice looking. I've been wanting one for several years now, but a certain financial crisis we're all aware of kept me from finally getting it last year (I had even emailed and gotten pricing for that setup with 1" shift to accommodate for my body lift and mounting for a Warn M12000 winch). Still hoping I can get it soon, but first is to catch up on my own finances and maintenance on my 62.

Mounted up a set of Hella 500 fogs today using bolt-on light mounts. This was straightforward install. If we don't like where the lights are mounted can be easily moved. The frontal view in the photos makes it appear that the Hellas may interfere with the headlights. I don't that that the Hellas will significantly block the headlight beam but if they do they'll be moved.

I ordered this bumper after talking with @Godwin and I installed it over the weekend. I got one for a planetary winch and had Dave add some light tabs in a specific location for me. This thing is very beefy, the bends and welds are very clean, and I think it looks great. I think it's the closest thing you can get to the aesthetics of the old school ARB and it's probably a lot stouter. My frame horns were not welded so I just had to grind and knock out the rivets and remove the horns to mount it.

I think that looks better than the corresponding ARB. The light mount tabs are a nice touch and definitely needed!
