Any concern about the handle coming off the door when used by little kids?
(also thinking about this so drunk friends can crawl their way into the 80 when I'm the DD )

With the help of a colleague I designed a speaker spacer handle for the rear doors. Bigger speaker and a handle for the lil's to use.

I can print some for people if needed.

So if you have a lifted cruiser and little kids you know the struggle of them trying to climb in the back. I also wanted to upgrade the speakers in the rear doors. I have a 3D printer and knew this could be solved. Since my design skills are still in the tinkercad levels I had a buddy at work...

Well I mounted the spacer to the metal of the door with RivNuts so its pretty secure for kids, it could be through bolted as well with a washer and nut on the back side. I give it the dad safety tug but not sure it will help the drunk guys.

Can anybody confirm whether the passenger grab handle can be installed on LHD NA models ? Seems I recall that there isn’t the underlying structural support inside the dash for left hand drive, or an airbag or something

If it’s feasable, I’d be interested in a 3D printed PS grab handle

Are you talking about what's commonly called the "oh s***" handle attached to the dash?

nice! What's the time frame on them? I am using a 80 steering column in my Project truck. Cover is shot of course.
