Its got j's front and rear with a 2" metaltech spacer up front. The wheels are pressed centers, 3" backspace i think. The website only offered one backspace with pressed centers when I ordered them. I got them bare steel with pvc inserts and the wicked ring (which is really sharp for mounting wear gloves). Just spray painted them. They handle really well. No balancing at all, and I daily drive it. I can cruise 70 with no vibes. Kinda wobbles a little around 60-65 but no death wobble no danger at all. They came with the inserts in the tire which took all the mounting labor away, so i suggest anyone who buys their wheels buy the tires too just to save yourself on stuffing in the beadlocks cause that sucks. Just impacted the wheels together and slapped them on, couple hour job. Way easier than aftermarket beadlocks that take forever to assemble. I gave them a business address with no dock and we just unloaded them outta the truck by hand. Even after everything it was still cheaper than buyin 37s for the stock wheels, that was the seller for me. They are really hard though, even under the 80 you gotta air em down to 5lbs or so to flex em up but i was impressed at how well they worked offroad.

Jake40, I may have to meet up with you and check out that set up. I am in Ft. Worth. I am actually going to look at the tires tomorrow from a guy up near Denton.

Ok yeah 3.5 bs. Flares are removed and they did rub a little on the bumpers but trimmed the bumpers corners all the way around and trimmed a little of the inside front wheelwells out in front of the doors. All is well now. Yeah could def run 2-3 pounds just fine.

Yeah come see me anytime I work at the napa in richardson, my girlfriend lives in watauga so Im near you pretty often too.

Anyone know about what the maximum rated cruising speed is on the MTs? Can they be driven over anything but short distances at freeway speeds?

I know that Michelin XL/XZLs are right at the edge of their rated maximum at 65mph, but they're a fair bit thicker, even compared to these.

They wouldn't make for a very good cheap/disposable ~daily-driver 37" if they cant drive on the freeway very long.

Jake40, just picked my tires up this afternoon. Man they are big. Now I gotta get my j springs under my rig. Gonna be fun times. :D

Check out some of the Diesel Forums. Those guys love these tires caus they can put 50,000+ on cheap tires running down freeway.

no association, and no experience with this guy, but he's closer to me than trailworthy, so I may hit him up when I need some additional tires

37" Goodyear MT Tires! LIKE NEW! Beadlock Wheels

This seller is good people. His name is Zack and is all about 4x4s. He isn't necessarily a fj guy but he is into everything with an engine. He likes to wheel and deal so take some guns or something to trade. He should be getting my wheels out pretty soon but everything has been delayed because of the midwest snow and he sources out his centers from the great lakes area. Good guy and great to work with. If anyone is wanting some tires from him let me know and I might be able to get you a cash discount.

Zack said he would ship these tires (not the ones lt1fire is talking about above, the ones form craigslist okc). Still waiting on him to get back with shipping cost.

You having him ship to you, or looking for others? Cause isn't he just down the road from you an hour or so?

I am not affiliated with Zack. Call him yourself, talk a little with him and he may cut you a deal. He has offered me deals in the past and if I lined up a couple of sales I think he would do it again. Not a middle man, just trying to help a local mudder and help a guy that has helped me before (Zack). Make a friend and keep a friend, if you catch my drift.

Wasn't trying to imply you were being middle man - just thought it curious you would have him ship to you. I'm happy to have a closer source to me for these tires, I'm sure I'll screw one up eventually. Or I'm even thinking of keeping one set on these rims un-groved, and a nasty groved set on beadlocks. It's nice to be nice to people who are nice.... It's also nice to have multiple good options for sourcing stuff.

No problema, I'm pretty laid back and hope that didn't come over harsh. Feel free to call him, he is a good guy to know. If I can get you a deal though I will try, you have helped me out and I would be happy to help you out.

It looks like it has been verified that a 3.5 backspacing works. But does it work with flares?

What if you want the tires to stick out a little bit more? What would the correct backspacing be?

Well we are about to find out if they work with flares or not. And I think they are going to stick out over 1 inch. If you want them to stick more a 3.0 back space or spacers ??I don't want them to stick out that far.
It is going to be about two weeks till they come in and I still need to install my lift.
I am waiting on a friend to help me with the lift he has a lift to put the rig up on.

Post more pics with the pressed centers. I want to see them. I'm debating on getting some myself. How long is the wait? 2 weeks?

I didn't go with pressed centers, mine are plasma table cut (I think, maybe laser though). Mine are ready just need to be picked up, then it will probably be a week or two before they are painted, put together and installed. As soon as I get mine on I will post them up.
