No tailgate as rumored?
Unfortunately
Now I don't care that it's not going to be available in the USA. Yuck

No tailgate as rumored?
Unfortunately
This is a joke right? It's not a land cruiser if it doesn't have a tailgate. That may be the most enduring and iconic part of a land cruiser.Unfortunately View attachment 2634033
s*** I didn't realize all the models with barn doors weren't actually cruisers! This is a joke right? It's not a land cruiser if it doesn't have a tailgate. That may be the most enduring and iconic part of a land cruiser.

The barn door equipped 40s, (possibly 55s), 60s, 70s, 80s, 100s and 200s would all disagree.

Tailgate. What would you rather have? Barn door or tailgate?

Agreed. ...But to purposefully delete the tailgate? It's a little bit crazy IMHO. Doesn't that leave only range rover with a spit tail?Of course the tail gate is better.
But sometimes you've gotta piss with the cock you've got.

They had to add back a detail that old cruisers have after the tailgate delete.I really dislike when mirrors appear to grow from the doors like little Trex arms.
One benefit of an electronic parking brake are features like brake hold and all speed cruise.
I don't understand the connection between those features and an electric parking brake?
My LX has "brake hold," as did my Tacoma before it. Both have normal, hand-operated parking brakes.
Pretty sure the newer 200-series have all speed cruise control, and they have the same, normal hand-operated parking brake.
