About 4 hours on the lpb and 2 on the bike today.
It was a really nice day today up here, got all the way up to 43 F. Got the box out side and did a little clean up work with the blaster. Didn't need a lot, but just went over everything and a few areas the acid didn't do that great of job on. That took about an hour, after that rolled it into the booth and did a couple hours of hammer/dolly work on the bottom. Just a few dings and dents in the bottom, some braces needed to be straighted out, wheel wells, etc... Blew everything off and then shot a good coat of epoxy primer on the bottom. The box looks really nice, hoping to start working on that left rear quarter tomorrow..get that welded in. Have a couple couple holes to weld up in the wheel wells, but should be flipping it over Monday and the sanding begins.
Since it was such a nice day I wanted to do a little testing on the bike. Slowly drove out to the highway on the snow on my road, about a mile and half. Once on the highway it was all clean asphalt. Drove into town, didn't open it up, but about 55 mph. Once in town, checked everything over..had a pop and then went home. One the way home, I think I was going about 65 to 70mph. Seemed to ride really nice with no noticable problems. So, as of now everything looks good on that thing. I'm sure this spring I will be putting a few more miles on it.
Had to drive the truck out of the shed to get into the booth, took a couple glamour shots of that also.
