These dates aren't my favorite, but this event is my favorite. We like to show up Thursday. Any talks of trunk or treat for the kiddos. Anyone arriving Thursday willing to bring a bowl of candy to hand out? Kind of feel terrible and selfish making the kids miss Halloween for dad's pleasure.

It's a good way of letting the kids know they can't always get what they want. 🤣

🤣yea tell me about it. Guess they need to get me a mug that's says selfish LC dad that spends all his extra money on LC parts 🤦
I would replace it with a photo of you wheeling at Fall Crawl. I am biased though.

They're done by the time they make it to the end of the street anyway. @surfishjoe and I are both planning on showing early with the kiddos so atleast I'm not the only less than super dad.
Don't sweat it too bad...my kids are now leaving their kids behind to go wheeling with me! :steer:

I will gladly play along as I am sure others will as well. Maybe we think about some spooky decorations etc....

Awesome we will have all the boys this time?
We'll see...definitely on all of our wish-lists! My older son told me the other day that if he doesn't answer another phone call, that he has enough work to keep him busy through the end of the year...he's the electrician with his own company. That said, as the boss, he can make his own schedule!

Took the M101A2 out for the maiden voyage for a round trip around town...now I just need to run it through inspection and wrap it up for now. It pulled easily with the 80 unloaded for now, but still about 1300 lbs. with the RTT/Awning/Cage. It's a 3/4 ton capacity with a 5' x 8' bed (inside fender liners), so I can load it up with just about anything.

I do have a few more plans for it, but at least I can run it as-is for FC if I want. I'd like to lighten up the RTT cage some and possibly make it so I can raise/lower by 16-18". With this plan, I'd do the rails on the outside of the bed and can then do a standard bed cover. After that, maybe some solar, etc.... ;)

New:
Wiring harness (lighting was already updated)
Front 3rd wheel
New wheel bearings
Master cylinder, lunette shock, and pivot bushings
All metal & soft brake lines & wheel cylinders
New shoes and fresh drum turn
Shocks
E-brake handles and NOS cables
Reflectors and tailgate chain/hardware
Front safety chains (swapped to cables)

Sample of the tonneau cover that fits just right, only about $400 still on Amazon:

And my setup...

We could potentially do some trunk or treat Saturday night after the raffle? That would get max participation. I anticipate a lot of people who usually come early to be home Thursday night with their kids.

@kevin in okinawa @Jakes40 we should add it as a discussion topic at the next meeting.

I would say before the raffle since people will actually be in their camps then. After the raffle I bet people will be drunk and wandering
