I was thinking the BFH might sort it out too. Pissed I didn't notice it when the axle was out.
When the axle was out I hit it with a commercial hot pressure washer...it was much grimier. I debated painting it but decided against it. If I was...
That is easily repairable if you just want to get it running. Got find a piece of steel, reshape and weld.
The welding alone will harden it up well enough.
As above, just be nice to the U bolts. They really aren't going anywhere once bolted on...
That happened because the ubolt nuts were tightened to the FSM spec — which is only relevant for stock springs and ubolts. When everything is stock, the nut bottoms out at 90 ft-lbs or whatever it is and can’t screw down any farther because...
Been busy ... found a better frame ... and will try to make it near perfect . It has to be in order to pass the Quebec inspection ...
There was a few rust holes ... but nothing too bad ... will use some clean parts of the old frame to fix it and...
Started cutting on the driver side .. worse ? Better ? Not sure ... pretty similar in the end ...
Metalwork is enough on the passenger side for what I intend to do with that truck . Should be plenty solid and nice to see from 30ft - 30mph ...
I'm normally on high alert in that area around the home depot.... couple years back, this was probably the worst thing I've ever personally seen over there.

I would like to thank JohnV, Allen and...
@Rooftop
That’s a Man A Fre shackle reversal kit - both the plates that weld to the frame horns and the front shackles. Those were made by 4Plus Products for Man A Fre. I have the same setup.
If you’re looking for 2-3” of lift you’ll need to...
Anyone who has shopped for automotive event insurance in the last 4 years will have found that there are less options than there used to be and they all had giant increases over that period.
A little diagnosis on the 80...looks like cylinder #5 is the culprit...darker plug and didn't change the misfire feel when I pulled the wire from the cap to test by ear. To me, that shows no spark since it's darker, so I've ordered an OEM tune...
Lots of people to thank,
